Man - DariusBurst: Chronicle Saviours is on tap for April. This may be my first LR game. Wonder if it will include all the DLC.
I have the PS4 version, but it's not cross-buy (it is cross-save) so a physical Vita cart would be pretty cool.

Re: Limited Run
I was reflecting this morning after ordering all three of the games released today. Granted they do a lower print run which in one respect makes the games limited. On the other hand, releasing games at this rate make it feel not so limited. I have got a stack of the games they have released which is in need of a new shelf as it has out grown the current one. I thought it would be cool to collect all of the PS4 releases to make a set of them over time. I am giving that some more thought now.
I only buy one and I open them as soon as I get them. I do not buy for the value or resale of them. I feel they are losing the "limited" feel because they are not limiting their releases. Seems like they are releasing anything that they can get a developer to sign on for. 2 or 3 release days a month with 2 and now 3 games at once. I love that we are getting physical copies but they are saturating it. They need to drop the limited run moniker and call themselves "Physical Release Games".
Just my 2 cents, or a cent and a half if you will. Looks like their next release is going to full retail price. 60 dollars for a limited run game will probably end my collecting of them and hopefully this is not going to be the new price point.

Re: Limited Run
I agree that they're definitely pumping out more titles than they used to, but I don't mind it. I absolutely see your point, though. I like that they're doing more because, for me, there's a psychological thrill from knowing that I have rare games.

iam8bit just released Hyper Light Drifter limited to 9000. It is not a pre-order, supposed to start shipping on Monday.

Re: Limited Run
I just went ahead and ordered. I'm apparently all about some limited-release games as of late.
Re: Limited Run
It is hard to pass them up. Especially since the price is normally half or less than a regularly released game.

Re: Limited Run
Yeah. I mean, I could have bought off of GOG a while back, and was certainly tempted to. But a physical release? Yeah, sign me up. I ended up doing the same for Axiom Verge, although if that game had a release on GOG, I'd have snapped it up years ago.
Re: Limited Run
Gamestop has a Steelbook version of that, and a selection of other smaller PC titles.Sarge wrote:I ended up doing the same for Axiom Verge, although if that game had a release on GOG, I'd have snapped it up years ago.

Yeah, that's the one I snagged. Couldn't pass it up, especially after waiting so long to play the game.isiolia wrote:Gamestop has a Steelbook version of that, and a selection of other smaller PC titles.Sarge wrote:I ended up doing the same for Axiom Verge, although if that game had a release on GOG, I'd have snapped it up years ago.
