^ I kind of wanted to help steer you toward some of those tracks you were mulling over, but can't quite bring myself to do it. I'm actually pretty impressed that you identified the game for #40.

Hmmm, you could try consulting the man who lives and breathes Falcom.

I guess I'm going to post the full track list around 10:00pm, this Thursday, unless there are any objections.

All of these are correct; Although, technically, the track from Cyberbots was ripped from the Saturn game disc, and the track from Gimmick! is specifically the Famicom version.

Sarge wrote:40 - I got a new one! Maze of Galious - Dungeon - NES

This one is nearly correct, although it bothers me, and I'm sure it's not your fault. The title for this track should be "World." I don't know if people are calling it "Dungeon" around the internet, but the whole game takes place in a giant dungeon, and the "dungeons" are different locales the player is sent to. Also, I don't understand why the subtitle for the game was made to be the title, in localization; The Famicom version doesn't have the same subtitle as the MSX version, though.

Here are the clues for the remaining tracks:
03: Ask a Xeo-. (Soukaigi - PS1 - Labyrinth)
08: 45 degree arcade machine. Find a Key, maybe. (Galaxy Force II - Arcade - Alone Fighter [Scene D])
14: Indie like Dave's latest thread. (Crayon Physics Deluxe - PC - Lullaby)
19: No one has played this, I'm not sure what I was thinking including it. Was originally going to be called "Phantasy Earth." (Tera Phantastica - Saturn - Unknown Title (Plays during last few maps in Chapter 8))
26: Find a half-vampire/half-human forum member. (Dodonpachi Daioujou Extra - Xbox 360 - Sakusetu Stage4)
42: The original Pokemon, with demons. (Shin Megami Tensei - Sega/Mega CD - Ginza)
45: Purple!! Maybe find a Bone. (Skies of Arcadia - Dreamcast - Ice Dungeon)
46: Dice. (Xi (Devil Dice) - PS1 - Track 11)
49: Find a dispensary of Meat, or a Repeat, or an old tree, like a cherry blossom. (Shenmue II - Dreamcast - Da Yuan Apartments)
50: I just finished a game in this series. (Dragon Slayer - Saturn - Title Screen)

Track 39 is "Main BGM (Floors 1-10)" from Modou Monogatari for the Genesis! (The same tune gets re-used in Puyo Puyo as "Dark Noble's Theme" and Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine as "Password," for anyone who is interested in that sort of thing.)

Track 21 is Omake 2 from Thunder Force AC!

YEAH! I'm helping! So many exclamation points!!

If anyone is waiting to put together another quiz because of this thread, please don't.
I'll be leaving the track list up on Dropbox, for now, and encourage anyone who wants to, to try to figure out the remaining tracks, but for all intents and purposes, I consider this challenge to be over.

It was a valiant effort by everyone, and I was genuinely impressed by the progress made, despite the number of people involved.

Thank you to all of those who played along.
