You know, resellers can also be collectors. Heck, at some point I might do some selling myself, and then I'd want to turn around and sell the dupes. If you're basically picking for this kind of stuff, then you're gonna get a lot of dupes. I'd just let it go, personally.

Definitely a lowball offer, but then, if you're a picker, that's what you do. Even if you're collecting. I see a ton of stuff that I'd love in those pics you posted, but I'd never be able to fork over fair market value for 'em.

That he said he only collects Nintendo also seems to indicate it's probably not as nefarious as it might seem.

You all forget: He deliberately lied to a father whom he thinks just lost a son. I seriously cannot believe anyone who defend that. I guess in this "cutthroat" video game collecting world, nabbing that game for resale is worth more than valuing the decency of another human being.

The lack of condolences was what bothered me most, yeah.

Yeah I mentioned that in my intro. There is selling extras and a line is crossed when you post ad with wads of cash and $ for an S. Then, when asked for value, says all games are the same value, and only worth a paltry percentage of the value.

I buy lots locally, and have sold stuff online. Hell, Hobie and I got a very big storage lot of games, and paid a fair and reasonable amount. That lot valued in a bit less half of what my collection is worth, and we settled on an amount many times more than this guy's offer. We got some good games and a little profit off it, but it was a lot of work and he got a fair lump sum. We also sold to fellow collectors for what I believe were below market prices, deals to go around.
So I get reselling to a degree, but then there is taking it to a douche level. I think this guy crossed it.

The second he posted that lame as picture of a wad of cash that very likely wasn't his to begin with he crossed into douche territory.

Not even that big of a wad; I came back with a larger one last trip to Vegas.
