They say you can play mods on the Xbox One version. I'm not convinced it will be extensive or that that's an exclusive feature though. They pretty much said one sentence about it, threw it up on the screen, then ran off the stage.

Might be, if they utilize the Windows 10 Xbox app to facilitate them.

I have to say I am immensely excited for Fallout 4. I loved 3, didn't care for New Vegas. I love all of the neat features they're adding, the iPhone app, the Pip Boy. I already have the Fallout Shelter App installed and I think it's pretty sweet. There's a lot that Fallout 4 is adding and the conference was simply amazing. I think they had a really strong showing!

Looking back over the Doom footage, I think the one thing that I don't like and would totally change the experience, is if they did NOT slow down time for weapon switching. It looks like it pulls you out of the chaos. It'd be more fitting for a frantic hellish shooter to not give you that liberty. And even with the weapon wheel it looks doable without the need to slow time.

You'll likely have quick weapon switching on PC through the number keys. That'll probably foster that experience.

Youtube's coverage is cringeworthiness par excellence. Hypocrites and buttkissers, everything is great and nothing is disappointing. I think I'll go with some British satirical coverage instead

I'd love some satirical coverage. Link some if you find any! I feel the same way since I was watching the IGN stream and after the Xbox conference there were a few guys talking including the one guy who was in on the first Xbox creation. It wasn't the love fest I expected, I mean they did do a lot of "I liked it but I'm not sure about X", but by no means were they critical.

Try Videogamer's channel, but they don't have the manpower to cover everything it seems
