It does exist, it is called Citra, it currently runs very little very slowly. But it is growing exceptionally quickly.
In the span of less than two months, we went from 1fps to 15ish with graphical issues:

Hmm that's fairly impressive even in its buggy state. I can only imagine what the system requirements on that will be when a public release hits. I know whatever they can end up doing with it I'll handle with this laptop I have. I hate to admit it but I'd download some stuff I've been curious about but too afraid to buy. I used to do that all the time with the GBA/GBC stuff when it was freshly released. Saved money on some turds, blew some on those I thought would suck and didn't.
