That initial list you started is better than I thought. I'm happy to see both WarioWare games on the list. Twisted would get the edge due to the use of the special tilt sensor.

I think we'd be in real trouble if we started taking individual games from series. We don't have room for 30 that way. If a series has all good games, it should be included as such.

After reviewing the list and other suggestions, it's solid so far.

Now I'm ready to add some.
Pinball of the Dead -- Making a case for it because it's an experience you can't find anywhere else. Even if you're not a pinball fan, it blends all the HOTD games in so well.

Super Ghouls N Ghosts - Far superior to the SNES original. No slowdown, save feature, and special new Arrange Mode.

Game & Watch Gallery 4 - Easily the best entry in the long running series. Tons and TONS of unlockable games in addition to all of those that are already there. Great updates of classic games as well as the original games included.

Activision Anthology - Outside of the PC port, this one has the most games and is better than all the console versions.

F-Zero MV & GP - I liked GP Legend more because it was easier, but last year in TR I sat down with MV and did a lot better. Both entries deserve to be here.

There's more, but as I said, I think we're gonna have trouble finding just *30*.

I decided to group the Wario Ware, Fire emblem, Castlevania, and Advance Wars games in the same spots, since the games are so similar and we would probably argue which one is the best forever.

Perhaps we should take Mega Man Zero off for Kirby amazing mirror since there is a definitive Mega Man Zero collection on the DS?

In order to add we first have to remove :P

Pinball of the Dead is one of the worst pinball games on the GBA

That's the problem with your approach to the thread vs. Mike's. His let the list come together organically and through community debate without a starting fleshed out list, yours feels like we are just debating your choices.

I saved you a lot of time, your welcome :P I am the GBA dictator, obey me.

Can you debate my choices? I'd love to hear it.

It should replace all of these:
Gunstar Super Heroes - It pales in comparison to the original, and Astro Boy: Omega Factor is a radically better game (that was also developed by Treasure).

Advance Guardian Heroes - This game is not very much fun, and it is certain to disappoint fans of Guardian Heroes.

Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald - These have been or will be remade, and subsequent games in the series are (probably) better.

Rythem Heaven Tengoku - The Wii version is better.

Harvest Moon Friends of Mineral Town - I don't like Harvest Moon games, and I am certain that there are other, better games in the GBA's library.

Legacy of Goku games/ Buus Fury - These games are OK, but there are certainly better games in the GBA's library.

Tekken Advance- Ugh, no. It was impressive for the hardware, but you are better off with any other fighting game (or Tekken on any other system).

YuGiOh Eternal Duelist Soul/ Ultimate Masters - No. These games need to go.

Mega Man Zero games - These are collected and improved upon on the Nintendo DS. Also, none of them are that good. They need to go.

Dragon Ball Z Super Sonic Warriors - Not that great. There are better games on the system. Remove it.

Grand Theft Auto Advance - You are better off just playing GTA or GTA 2 on your console (or, better yet, GTA: Chinatown Wars on iOS or the NDS).

Mario Kart Advance - This is a very weak entry in the Mario Kart series. Mario Kart DS and Mario Kart 7 are radically better, portable Mario Kart games.

Metal Slug Advance - This is a weak entry in the Metal Slug series, and Metal Slug 7 is much better. You should remove this game from the list.
Also, I agree with DSH that Pinball of the Dead is not that great.

Next, I think we should add Final Fantasy VI: Advance. Since the HD iOS versions are not that great, the improved GBA port of this wonderful JRPG remains the best version of the game.

Finally, I fully support including these games on the list:
Golden Sun
Metroid Fusion
Metroid: Zero Mission
Castlevania: Circle of the Moon
Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow
Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonence
Advance Wars
The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap
Drill Dozer
Wario Land 4

I have yet to see some love for Kirby so I vote Kirby Nightmare in Dreamland, to be added to the list. :D

I agree with you on all those points except Mario Kart Advance Harvest Moon FOMT and Pokemon R/S/E

Mario Kart advance is legendary on the GBA

There needs to be a pokemon game on the list, should we put Fire Red and Leaf Green on there instead since there is a better version of R/S/E on the 3DS, but it can't be a top GBA game list without Pokemon

Harvest moon, are you just not a fan of the series? Many people argue that Harvest Moon FOMT is the best in the series.

To make the list, it must be one of the best games on the GBA; it is not sufficient that it be the game in the Harvest Moon series. (Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel may be the best game in the Army of Two series, but I would not expect to see people clamoring to include it on a list of the best Xbox 360 games.)

Accordingly, and unless other members of the forum agree that it should be included on the list, I think we should remove it. Otherwise, we are just debating your picks for the 30 best games on the GBA, and we will not generate much of a list.
