What Console Hardware Do You Think LOOKS the Best?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

My top 3:

1) Dreamcast - Very ahead of it's time aesthetically.

2) Genesis M2 - Once again, Sega knows how to make hardware look cool.

3) PC Engine (White JPN Model) - I just love how compact it is.

Did anyone else think the Gamecube was kinda modeled after the Dreamcast?
I guess they thought, "Ohh that looks nice!" then they smashed it into a "cube."

I would have to say either the limited silver edition Dreamcast, the black Treamcast (I love being one of the few that own one), or the 3DO FZ-1.

I agree with nick944 above, the silver DC is beautiful. Also, the R7 and Mazora DCs are awesome too.

If we are not talking about limited edition consoles, then I'd have to go with the regular DC or the cream JP Saturn.

The Master System looks cool too, with its sort of cut-off pyramid shape and hard edges.

Yes, I like Sega.

I always liked the look of the PSone and PSTwo. Very sleek, very small.

One of the models of the CD-i is pretty awesome looking, too.

My top 3:
1. TurboDuo - black, not the Duo-R white version - just sleek, simple, and beautiful
2. Saturn - JP White
3. Tie: Dreamcast/Gamecube - R7 and black cube
Honorable mention - Super Famicom

My worst 3:
1. Jaguar CD - it looks like a toilet seat
2. Xbox - too damn big
3. PS2 - 1st ver - just clunky
Dishonorable mention - 3D0

As far as portables go, I love the TurboExpress and DS Lite~

1, 2, and 3 are all nice choices. The PCE core is a beauty for sure~

Sexiest system of ALL TIME the Hitachi HiSaturn Navi

Post by claudio »

I previousally picked the JagCD, and picked Skeleton Saturn second, but i found an even BETTER Sega Saturn system.

but seriosly, im 100% positive on what the greatest looking system of all time is !! Im not sure to many people can argue with me on this one!

Not only does it play video games, but it is also a GPS unit (remember, this is in the 90's) !!

#1 Hitachi HiSaturn Navi with the LCD screen, SICK !

I love the Sega SG1000 model 1. Its so simple and screams classic Sega design.
