TSTR - Team Cumpile - 39,989,120 - Stage 4-2 (Boss) - Rosa - 360

I think I remember this game now.

I've tried so many times and can't get this to work. Does it maybe save the unlocked characters to a config file you could share w/ me?DocHauser wrote:From what I remember, you have to hold down, A,B,C (right shot, left shot, and bomb) on the player 2 side, while you enter the code for player 1. If you hit Tab, you can map A,B,C for player 2 onto one button, which should make it easier after that (you don't need two controllers either, a different button on the same controller is fine). If the code is successful, you'll hear a jingle. If it doesn't work, you can keep trying until you hear the jingle; you don't need to quit the credit and start a new one to try again.noiseredux wrote:I only have Windia and Casper available in MAME... make sense to anyone?
So apparently Rosa and Follet have to be unlocked on MAME and I'm having difficulty doing so as it requires 2 controllers.

I'm guessing it'll be the NVRAM you need. In which case, you can try copying these files - hopefully the attachment option works...noiseredux wrote: I've tried so many times and can't get this to work. Does it maybe save the unlocked characters to a config file you could share w/ me?

Mike do I spy you using composite video? I don't think we can be friends anymoremjmjr25 wrote:Hey, why hasn't Mike posted his kids playing this weeks game yet?
Sorry, sorry. Here is my 4yo, looking a bit rough, but nevertheless, she is getting her Follet on:

Yeah, as soon as I successfully entered the codes, everything carries over to the next game. It's the NVRAM file.DocHauser wrote:I'm guessing it'll be the NVRAM you need. Unzip the file and put the eeprom and game files into the deathsml folder, which should be in the NVRAM folder. Boot the game and, fingers crossed, you should have the two extra characters and the extra stage option.

they feel borderline amazing man. Doing a lot of no-hit stages now. Figuring shit out. I was so bummed about bombing by accident twice and then hitting Jitterbug w/ half a life. Ugh. I really could have scored so much more on 4-1 and 4-2 man. But I love that feeling of "ok, I get this again" and feeling like I got progression ahead of me. You know I heart this game for real.mjmjr25 wrote:Awesome dood - proud of you - those runs feal great, right?
