Week 2 STGT: Jamestown (Gauntlet Legendary)

anyone recall issues w/STEAM when first installing? I just installed on this new PC and it won't center on the screen, it forces to the upper right corner, so I get about 60% of the screen? I lowered resolution from 1080 to 720 and tried the 3 resolution options in-game (pixel perfect, stretch, etc). Anyone else have any ideas?

Mike, if you're still having problems with this take a pic of the screen so we can try to figure out what's causing this.

Could be an issue with the scaling options in the GPU's settings.

So I was able to move the mouse around until I found the "Full Screen" option. It was loading in normal screen, crazy stretch, so I couldn't see half the menu. Got that fixed by starting STEAM normal (not in big screen mode).

Now my problem is Jamestown opens in a window, either from the shortcut or from the steam library. I can't get big screen mode back - I can change it in my settings-->Interface, but it doesn't save and I can't see where I would save my settings.

So, i'm playing, but in a window so the top and bottom task bars cover a portion of the playscreen. Frustrating.

Doc, look at my screenshot and then yours. Where do you access yours from?

EDIT: nm, just hit that bottom results tab, yeah?

mike, when it's in Window mode try hitting ALT + ENTER ...most Win programs will go full screen from windowed if you hit that.

mj> If you right-click on the taskbar at the bottom and select 'Properties' you should be able to hide it. Then you can start the game without it getting in the way.

Thanks guys - i'll try that when I hop back on.

Other ships - any other input from others? If there is no discernable advantage (ie, hyper powerful ship) then i'm ok w/them - other opinions?
