Apparently it's a heap of shit on PS3 but just about passable on X360. I would hazard a guess that Microsoft's unified architecture in the 360 is its saving grace here. Being able to shift a few more megabytes of RAM to the GPU is massively valuable in a vertex heavy game such as this. It's one of the reasons why the 360 version of Ninja Gaiden looks loads better than the PS3. PS3 is limited to 256MB for CPU and 256MB for GPU. That's it. Unless you build your game from the ground up to use both CPU and GPU for rendering (IE Uncharted/The Last of US) your performance is going to be severely limited over the more flexible 360 hardware.

I have noticed alot of games that are coming out on both next gen and last the last gen ones look like crap, not compared to next gen but to other last gen games. I think they just are not putting much resources into properly developing for last gen. Like COD ghosts on the X360 looked horrible compared to previous COD games

Pretty much. The worst thing is that they are getting zero QA. Disgusting really. What do you expect though. As soon as the new consoles are out the old ones are dropped like 2 tonne sacks of shit. I'm just glad that these new waves of console games are better optimised for my system than previous PC ports (with the exception of AC:Unity that game doesn't run well on any system). So I couldn't give less of a fuck about these new consoles. It's great. I'd rather that £400+ sit in my bank account than be wasted on a glorified paper weight.ninjainspandex wrote:I have noticed alot of games that are coming out on both next gen and last the last gen ones look like crap, not compared to next gen but to other last gen games. Love this game. I love to sneak up behind the enemy and jam my knife into their side!
