However, instead of wasting $10k on a fruitless endeavor, I have some wonderful real estate you guys can get in on if we act quick! Think reasonably now everyone.

Nah if we do 2nd mortgages, we got this. I could sell part of my collection as well. Whats the use of a collection of I owned a part of Capcom??

Why? Think of all the awesome games we can make.

I'm more thinking of the flood of new members

I'll go on the record offering to sell my collection too. cha cha you missed a zero. We're talking 10-20 people X 100-200k each so we're thnking 3-4 million ideally. I think we may even be able to get to 5mill if we open it up and include the Neo forum folks.

Again, this is just for a loan downpayment to buy the majority share of stock. We just want the controlling interest. It's about an investment, not buying Capcom just for the sake of it.

Mike, do they own the full rights to ProGear? I'm thinking that the PS4/Xbone audience would eat that up as a budget $40 release with a new HD coat of paint...

Strange enough, I've got some rupees saved away for this very moment. I always knew Capcom would go under and I have kept my rupees in save hiding, on my Zelda: Oracle of Ages cart.

Or is it Seasons? Muwhahaahaha.

Sell part of your collection to cover the costs? LOL! The "pile" of 2nd mortgages is far more believable... When selling a collection, remember that it is not liquid assets we are talking here, and raising money from selling your things in a reasonable amount of time means you'd take heavy heavy losses on value of your collection, no matter how impressive or valuable you perceive it to be, you ain't gonna get nearly enough out of it. Piecing out valuable gems and maximizing profit takes huge amounts of time when talking collectible sales, too much time to get in on this action man. (unless apparently you are a world record holder)

Moral of the story: Put some effort into your trolling people.

They must not own Pro Gear entirely - it was on the list of games for CAVE to release when they had a poll up last year.

I'd be in at first blush - would need to look harder though at 100K.

I have a few contacts on Neo who I think would be financiers. There are a few tech guys who could get involved as well - i'm seriously in my head pondering production of CPS2 stuff. There are currently people with the skill to program boot boards, perhaps with backing could be paid to do legitimate stuff.

The Hellwig brothers are profitable with a mini but highly dialed in operation - imagine access to Capcom with people who actually are invested and know what the fans want.

Your pessimism is noted.

Based on PMs alone we're already over a million, so don't scoff just yet. I coud probably get $50k easy for my collction by selling it bit by bit, and there are interested folks with much better and bigger collections.

Also, the wife seems down with it (surprisingly!) so even I'm more jazzed now.
