I recommend it if you haven't played it. As far as Suikoden games go, it's not one of the better ones, but a good RPG and a good game nonetheless.ninjainspandex wrote:Any love for Suikoden Tierkreis on the DS?

Great to see someone mention Super Robot Taisen OG Saga Endless Frontier. I really enjoyed that game. Great battle system and plenty of humor in the story. For stuff not mentioned, I actually liked Phantasy Star Zero quite a bit as well.

Don't forget the Shin Megami Tensei games!

I would love to try out OG Saga but it's kind of pricy so it will have to wait a while. Infinite Space is in the same position.
Devil Survivor has an enhanced version on the 3DS and a similar version of the second game is in development as well. Keep that in mind.
Strange Journey is really good, never thought I'd get into a dungeon crawler as much as I did with that game.Frerix wrote:Don't forget the Shin Megami Tensei games!

How is Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes? I saw it cheap at Amazon and just about everywhere else. So I ordered one for the hell of it...and only now wondering if it's any good.

Re: Must have DS RPGs
I am not trying to hijack this thread by any means.
But what are some good RPGs that started (and preferably ended) with the Nintendo DS?
I really prefer to play all my games from the start of the series. I don't like jumping in the middle of a story.

Don't expect amazing story. It's pretty bad.ChrisHaha2049 wrote:How is Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes? I saw it cheap at Amazon and just about everywhere else. So I ordered one for the hell of it...and only now wondering if it's any good.
The gameplay though is really fun. It's an odd mix between turn based strategy and match 3 puzzle game. It's good.
Re: Must have DS RPGs
It's true. It's really the only way that I can play RPGs, I can't do it on a home console (Maybe I'll pick up some of the good ones for the SNES).Retrogamer0001 wrote:There really is an insane amount of quality RPGs on the DS - it's kinda mind-boggling. I'll add Knights in the Nightmare to the list, as well as The Dark Spire.
Final Fantasy III
Dragon Quest games for the DS
Paper Mario: Sticker Star It's a 3DS game
Are we counting the Pokemon games?
