Did anyone else play around with the multi boot configs using the CHOICE command back in the day? It actually made running the older games easier. I would title the games in the Power Menu with a (HIMEM) or (EMS) to remind me. There was also the headache of VESA drivers for the video card on the newer DOS games.

I had it setup with multiple boot in the CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT files to boot different HIMEM and EMS memory configurations dependent on what the game would need. Sometimes the Sound Card IRQs would give headaches when a game needed 10 instead of 5 or 7. It died during a flash to bios update.

over the weekend my wife and I played a sampling of old Apogee games on my TV. Dabbled in Duke Nukem, Cosmos Cosmic Adventure, Halloween Harry, Whacky Wheels, Monster Bash... and Blake Stone. You guys, I used to play the heck out of the Blake Stone demo back in the day but could never remember what the title was. So much nostalgia when I fired this one up. Was awesome.

Loved the Apogee games back in the day! My favorites were Monster Bash and Jill Of The Jungle, both sweet platformer games. Raptor: Call of the Shadows a very well done SHMUP.
