I plan to get a PS4 WAY down the road. I still play PS2 games a bit, play my PS3 all the time. Still play with my PSP and yes I have the PSVita too that I play with. I hope the PS3 continues to see support from not just developers, but Sony itself with pushing the console into newer markets and such.

PS.. Go BRONCOS!

I don't even need more games to come out on the PS3. For the past 1.5 years I haven't been able to game at all on my PS3 (with the exception of GTA V), and I seem to have missed like 12 games I would normally buy right away. Not to mention we are finally getting many JRPGs, which means I will have many long games to keep me company :)

Are there any big games to look forward to coming to the PS3? Or is it going to be just sport titles and withered down releases of PS4 games like future Call of Duties ?

I've pre-ordered The Witch and the Hundred Knight and Dark Souls II and that's only up to March. I'm sure there will be at least a few more quality releases for the PS3 over the next two years.

I really do not have any idea what is going on with the ps3/ps4 , 360/1 . Dark Souls 2 is out before I got to play Demon's Souls now I am confused on which to pick up, I also thought Ni No Kuni was out already.

Are the coming up titles new or are they titles released in Japan 2 years ago and now they are releasing the English translated version? Any new games that is going to push the ps3 to its maximum boundaries ? Thats what usually happens by the end of the console's life

Stick of Truth is getting a PS3 release! I'm actually excited about the game and hope it doesn't get delayed at the last second again.
I am buying all Saturn games, PM me with your offerings and I will let you know if I need the game or not! (Everything must be CIB)

Currently trying to knock off all the sports games, would like to get them <$5 each! Of course if you would like to donate them I will gladly pay the shipping! :)

Some are localized versions of Japanese titles from last year, but some of them are new to any region.
A good number of PS4/Xbone releases in 2014 are still being released on the previous gen as well. Stuff like Destiny, watch_dogs, and Mad Max.

We've likely already seen the PS3 pushed to the edge of what it's capable of, technically speaking. Or, at least, as far as it'd make financial sense to do at this point.

Ni No Kuni came out in the west a year ago. I wouldn't really say any of the upcoming PS3 games will blow us away from a technical standpoint. I think Beyond: Two Souls, The Last of Us, GTAV, and GT6 have shown us the very maximum as to what the system is capable of.

I have friends who JUST bought a PS3 within the last year (one of my friends bought one last month) and they haven't even tapped into that library.

My guess would be until the PS3 is selling for $100 it probably isn't going anywhere.
Considering that no one really bought the machine until the Slim came out, it's real life span began around that time, in terms of sales. So it wouldn't be crazy to think people would start dishing out for a PS3 now. The thing is still actually pretty expensive for its age. $200 isn't too bad considering the system, but it's only half the price of it's successor, which is being marked as the highest end console you can get right now.

As long as games come out, I'm sure people will still buy stuff for it.
