Need a new video game series to play from start to finish!
Re: Need a new video game series to play from start to finis
Lol come on of course I've played the Fable series! I seriously love the first one, was kind of disappointed in II and III.

Hey I'm glad you've played it and enjoyed it.
Maybe it seems too obvious a pick for this topic, but the fact is a lot of people blew off the series entirely for one reason or another, which is unfortunate.
In that case, I'll suggest Phantasy Star, 1-4.

Yea I can see why people blew it off, good call on phantasy star series, one of my favorites. I never did play 4 and the gamecube one, I think it's called phantasy star online episodes 1&2 or something.

Began in 1987 and the latest game was just released a month ago.
Lots of ports to play around with.
Phenomenal action RPGs. Best game series of all time.
Ys is fantastic. Great music, fast gameplay, classic feel. The nice thing is that basically all of the old titles in the series have had a modern (and wonderfully done) remake.
I will be picking up Oath in Felgana before the Steam sale ends for sure. I have a case of the "wants" for a PS Vita real bad just so I can play Ys Seven and Memories of Celceta.
Sorry if I'm gushing a bit but Ys is one of those series that I finally looked into and tried and thought - "what rock was I living under that I didn't know how awesome this is?!"
Have: Sega Genesis, SNES, Atari 2600, Atari 7800, Atari 800XL, PC, N3DS XL, Wii U, GBA, Xbox One, Switch
Want: Games!!!

I suggest a game called Lufia & The Fortress of Doom (AKA, Estopolis in Japan). There is a 2nd one called Lufia II: Rise of the Sinstrals; which is a prequal. Both of those are on the SNES. Then there are MANY released for the various renditions of the GameBoy.
