So nowadays, because I'm busier and usually tired when I get home; the internet/reading about games is easier to do than playing them.
I have a lot of titles that I start to play and abandon (or bought and haven't played). Contra IV would be the last game I bought, played, beat, and got half of the challenges.
The game(s) I regret not finishing would be: Chrono Cross, F-Zero X, Zelda TP, and RE4:WiiEd.
What games do you regret never finishing?

i would agree with not finishing a game to be a big killer to myself. fucking aye. shit eats me up. makes me think i just buy games and have games but dont really appreciate them. like some gay duncan yo yo collector. i have been trying to beat all the games i never finished, its just time consuming more than anything. and i get the games mixed up too dam much. i will start 5 games in one day and try to rotate but it never pans out and i end up thinking that assless chaps ashley is really the thing in alaska trying to stop me from taking photos of a bad conspiracy while i try to keep my fear down so i dont die so i can help gabe and the agency defeat the red section while jean reno fights the genma in the past to preserve my battle with zeus to claim olympus.

There's plenty of games I started and never finished that I eventually want to beat.. Dragon Quest 8, Tales of Legendia, Tales of the Abyss, Dragon Warrior 3.
Then there's a few Final Fantasies I am trying to clear off my backlog now.. 2, 3, 5, and 12. Then I'll have all the numbered ones beaten except 11.
I'm up to the final dungeon in Legaia 2 and have done like 85% of the side quests.. it's the last 15% getting to me.
Then there's two RPGs I am up to the final boss in and couldn't beat: Arc the Lad TOTS, and Star Ocean 2. Ughhhh.

Most recently I'd say Oblivion for the PC - though I'm planning on getting back into it once I get new hardware to run the game in full detail and very high resolution.
Have a few PS2 rpgs I'd like to play through sometime - Final Fantasy XII, Grandia 3, and Star Ocean. I never played FFVII, but I think I'll just wait around until the remake.

There is a second disc? What is on it? Only one GD-ROM for my Japanese version. The Sega Saturn version of Grandia is two discs though.I never finished grandia 2 for dreamcast, i got all the way to the second disk,

He's playing the crappy pirated version that had a lot of downsampling, and a disc swap when you get the granasaber.ImportBoy wrote:There is a second disc? What is on it? For me the two games that I regret not finishing are:
Half-Life: I got about 3/4 of the way through it, but for some reason it crashed my computer. I ended up re-installing it later on, but I had already wiped out my game save.
Star Ocean 3: I really liked the combat and the story was alright, but the backtracking and confusing dungeons (the map didn't help much either) lead me to give up on the last quest before getting to the second disc.
