my Wii U bought it played it for a few hours and havn't played it since. Mario games just aren't fun to me anymore, they are just so ridiculously easy now. Nothing really to play on it yet.

Shh, that opinion can get you killed around these parts. For some people on here, consoles must be purchased at launch no matter what. Just grin, say these 8th-gen consoles are awesome, and just go along quietly playing your older stuff.

Let's see... There is NO online lobby system (wtf year is this?), therefore after every match, you are booted back out to the MAIN MENU... even after you INVITE someone (you have to keep reinviting ugh). The netcode sucks, which is a total step backwards from Tekken Tag 2 and SC5... games made by the SAME COMPANY. There is about 2-3 frames of input lag...in OFFLINE matches. Other than the badly implemented netplay, there are no added features (they couldn't even be bothered with adding the arcade conquest mode, which was awesome and could have been done online to great effect).

Just overall a horrible port, and total cash in on the nostalgia of arguably the best SC game of all time.

Worst yet? I bought it on both XBL and PSN before even trying it...to support my "favorite" FG company. Bastards. $40 down the drain.

I hadn't noticed the delay because I was playing on a TV with plenty of delay already. I bought it just to play online but the netcode is pissing me off. Playing the game with any sense of space or timing is just impossible.

Paid $150 for this monstrosity.. The game is good, but I bet it ain't even worth 50% of what I paid for... I hear the plasma lamp breaks easily as well..

In 1991, I was six years old. I walked into Toys R Us and bought myself a Sega Genesis. This was the first video game console I bought with my own money (albeit money that was given to me for Christmas). The Genesis came with Sonic the Hedgehog.

So far this is the best impulse buy I had ever made, but my next impulse purchase was not so wise. I had just enough for one more video game cartridge. I looked across the wall of dozens of video games at Toys R Us, and choose carefully...

I choose to spent the last bit of my money on a brand new copy of Back to the Future: Part III. What could possibly go wrong? I love the movie (or at least I did when I was six) so logically the game must be good. I learned a harsh lesson that day about video games based on movies.

Most of my post WoW MMO purchases. My wife usually plays them with me, so many were x2. Let's see.... Conan, Warhammer, and even Mists of Pandaria. I had basically written of WoW by then, but was sucked into trying it a few months after launch. I think I played it 1 day.

I have also bought Guild Wars 2 and FFXIV ARR, but really enjoy(ed) those. Still plan to keep playing XIV ARR.

I impulse buy often, probably not a good thing, but I typically get something I am confident I will like.

Mine would have to be from last year. I bought a phone for tweaking at $145 and when it arrived it was damaged, and I never got a refund.

Not to mention it was only worth $75-100

Over the years for me it was just impulse buying on games that I would never play and looking at the money I wasted. I always bought used. Actually I got one
Buying Marvel Vs Capcom 3 special edition for 65.00 at gamestop to only find out a few months later they put out Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3. Damn shame.

I wanted to play a TRPG, so I ordered Final Fantasy Tactics A2 on eBay, but while it was on it's way... I may have gotten into all the Disgaea games...

I'll play it eventually!

How about worst impulse buy NOT PURCHASED?

Many moons ago I drove to La La land to buy Miner 2049er for the Atari 5200 right from Big Fives office. The employee asked if I wanted it signed and if interested in buying the sequel as well at which I passed. For all I know it might have been Bill Hogue himself!

At least I bought the gold label version.
