I just picked up on Ouya cheap for around $50 setup was super easy and I can do it from the comfort of my couch!!8bit wrote:^^^ Agreed 100%. ^^^
i've successfully emulated 2600, nes, snes, n64, ds, sms, genesis, neogeo, ngpc, ps1, all with from the store downloads and a 32gb thumb drive. They all run exceptionally well and are easy to navigate via the controller. Plus any PS3 controller works over bluetooth and does the job perfectly! A lot more people should look at an ouya for that alone.
*On a side note,Ouya + XBMC + Icefilms for unlimited TV shows and Movies is magical!*

Awesome dude! It's crazy how simple an Ouya is to use for emulation. Much nicer than any of my previous experiences with oXbox, Wii, Computers, etc. Have you tried using a PS3 wireless controller yet?Dakinggamer87 wrote: I just picked up on Ouya cheap for around $50 setup was super easy and I can do it from the comfort of my couch!!

Re: My first experience with the Ouya
Yea it's insanely easy and intuitive to use. I immediately was up and running whereas in the past I had to really do a ton of work on consoles to achieve the same result. I have tried a PS3 wireless controller and it works great in addition to my Xbox controller.8bit wrote:Awesome dude! It's crazy how simple an Ouya is to use for emulation. This purchase was well worth it just for emulation alone.

Re: My first experience with the Ouya
I had been trying to get a SNES controller via USB adapter to work for a couple weeks with no luck. So I plugged in my PS3 controller and boom off to the races. Played through Contra to test it. Retroarch is alittle pokey, but not enough for it to piss me off.
