Apparently one of the guys who worked on Spyro worked on Sonic 2. For whatever that's worth...

I'm really excited to hear some positive stuff about Spyro. I haven't played it since it was released (played the original trilogy), but I remember really enjoying it. I'll have to go back sometime soon.

DK64 is always fun! I've never fully made it through that game, but i love it every time I pick it up at my dads...it deserved a sequel...but the original spyros were amazing. GBA spyros and all ones after were great but they didn't compare to the original from what time I did have to play it(I'd play it again if sony would get their act together and get it available on vita in US like it is in the rest of the world). There was just something about the 3d aspect in Sypro and Jak and Daxter that make them great to come back to in my mind. And sadly there's not many games that follow this similar formula and make a decent modern replacement(at least as far as I've seen and looked...). I'd pay anything if a few of the Rare employees came back to Nintendo and some of the other developers would make these humorous platformers like this. Heck even Tak(which later had a show spinoff) was amazing...if I could find it and afford it I would definitely add all of them to my collection. There was just something special about all these 3d platformers that is just fun to go back to time and time again....
