Mario & Wario, Super Tetris 2, Super Tetris 3, and Super Bombliss, are near entirely English.

That would not be "English friendly" to me if a FAQ is needed as opposed to a shmup or action game where you don't need anything more than a few minutes of playing to figure things out.
No im sure you could get by just fine, it would be like playing link to the past in japanese, quite doable.

It is playable, but I would not say it is English Friendly. There are alot of nuances to the game that you need to either read Japanese or consult a FAQ to understand.

Battle Tetris Gaiden and Battle Jockey are two of my favorites. Battle Tetris goes for $30ish loose, Battle Jockey for $20ish - it is like Mario Kart of Horse Racing.

Technically someone who doesn't speak Japanese could also stumble through Alcahest, Crystal Beans, Xak, Popful Mail, Ys IV/V....... But it would be way too much of an inconvenience for any of those games to be considered "English friendly."

I'm going to need some help with exclusive and still playable for the:

Gundam
Sailor Moon
Yu Yu Hakusho
Bomberman
Goemon
Dragonball

...series. Each has multiple, some are not exclusive, some are not english friendly.
the US didn't see any Gundam, Sailor Moon, yu yu hakusho or Dragon ball games on the SNES AFAIK. We did receive Goemon 1 but not the 2nd and 3rd. Us Americans only saw the first two Super Bombermans the third was only europe and Japan and the 4th and 5th was Japan only.
