this will probably be the only virtual console game I buy on the Wii unless there are more $0.30 games that I like. I have the Homebrew channel on the wii so I have no real reason to, only reason I'm buying this is to show support for the Earthbound franchise.

That does not mean that there will never be any SNES games on the 3DS...but it does make it much more unlikely that Nintendo will port Earthboud to the system...

EDIT: I still have my fingers crossed for virtual bot games in the eShop, however...Get on that, Nintendo!

It infuriates me that you cant share games between your Wii U and 3DS like you can with ps3 and vita/psp, is Nintendo really that incompetent? I mean any psone classic I get on my ps3 I can also play it on my psp or vita

Again though, SNES VC isn't on 3DS right now. I don't think it's fair to complain about Earthbound not being available on it. Maybe if we were talking about an NES game or something.

If SNES VC games were on 3DS right now, I could understand the complaint.

No. The Wiimode has been hacked, but not the Wiiu itself. Several teams have stated they have hacked it but no one has proven it - Wiikey being one of them.

For HDMI emulation machine, your best bet right now is an Ouya.

I'm pretty much in the same position. I do most of my emulation on PC though.
