Add Persona 4 and Katamari, and that's probably my favorite list in this thread.

My picks:

-Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 1 & 2
-Champions of Norrath
-Champions: Return to Arms
-Draken: The Ancient Gates
-God of War 1 & 2
-Grand Theft Auto: Vice City
-Guitar Hero series (pick one, I like them all (except the Aerosmith one as I'm not a big Aerosmith fan))
-Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction
-King's Field: The Ancient City
-Legaia 2: Duel-Saga
-Resident Evil: Code Veronica X
-Resident Evil 4
-Spider-Man 1 & 2
-Star Wars: Battlefront 1 & 2
-Tony Hawk's Underground
-WWE: Smackdown Series (pretty much any one of them are good games, if you're into WWE games)
-X-Men Legends 1 & 2

And then there are also soooo many fan-freaking-tastic classic game collections out there on the PS2. I could do another list just as large just on those.

I was going to throw my list into the ring, but really all the games I might have listed are already here.

a few I didn't see:

if you like 3/4 isometric action games, like Champions of Norrath and Baldur's Gate games, try X-Men Legends 1 and 2.

Side scrolling action games (Like Odin's Sphere): Kim Possible What's the Switch, and if you like Mega Man X, and don't have copies of the other versions already, Mega Man X Collection can be had for cheap.

Bad assery all around game: Genji: Dawn of the Samurai.

What I like to do is check gameplay videos on Youtube of games that people list. If it looks awesome, I play it. Another way to play a game before you buy is to emulate it. You can get any of these games listed for free if you search. I'll leave the morality of it up to you. But this is a way to play some of these games that are commanding super high prices.
