3DS - Animal Crossing: New Leaf
Re: 3DS - Animal Crossing: New Leaf
It makes me so happy that you all are enjoying this game. It's one of my favorite games of all time, and I'm gonna pick up a 3DS for this game alone (and other in the future) very soon.

Re: 3DS - Animal Crossing: New Leaf
Got the game at launch and have been playing it pretty consistently so far. This morning I managed to finally get my approval rating high enough to start flexing muscle as mayor, so I started my first public works project, as well as set an Early Bird ordinance since I wake up so early.
Love the game so far. Wild World and City Folk just didn't cut it for me like the original did, but this game seems like it is serving as a nice successor.

Paid for a new bridge fairly quickly. You make some crazy money going fishing at the island.

Goddamn game! it crashed again... at the same exact part... It really kills the game knowing that at any time it could crash and lose my progress. I emailed Nintendo Support, not sure what they could do really, but still...

Hmm... I've been thinking it over and wonder if this is the game I should start with. Is there any advantages/disadvantages with going with this one over the old Animal Crossing games? This one seems great as it's portable and I seem to have more time to game at work than I do at home.

If it's the digital version I believe there's a way in the eshop to scan the integrity of the file and make sure the file itself is fine.

Got this game the other day. Just beginning, but so far so good. Haven't played it too much because I'm trying to get through MH3U single player at the same time.
Anyway, feel free to add my friend code in my signature. Just let me know, and I'll add you back!

Gonna show some pictures I've taken over the course of the past few days. Never took a picture of my orientation which kinda bums me out, though:

Simon, my favorite villager thus far.

Bianca, the resident slut of my town. Anyone who wants her can have her!

lol gulliver

I bet it happens a lot. :'

Timbra has been growing on me, especially after I changed her saying to "poor fool". Haha.

I feel pretty.

THIS IS WHERE I DRAW THE LINE ON THE FUCKING PIGS

Last picture I took today, mostly wanting to show off my sweet Wario 'stache.
That's it for pictures. I wouldn't mind trading my FC with some Racketeers, btw. This a nice, close-knit community. My FC is in my Backloggery, but I'll post it here as well:

I would suggest getting this over the other ones. The previous animal crossings are all very very similar in terms of gameplay. They may add new locales here and there, but they don't really add any features that weren't already there.
This one adds so much content to expand the longevity of the series. If you were to play the gamecube, then play the DS, you see little difference (aside from the visuals). Play th Wii version and there is little difference (outside of the downtown area, which streamlines some of the features in previous games). This version adds so much to do and experience, games to play and a whole new world in the city planning aspect. Grab this above all others, it is veyr much the definitive one in the series.
