I've been getting a weird craving to replay this one lately, since it's been ages and when I did I had a normal CRT, while the game had that "small text" issue with non HDTV's...
... but did anyone here like Last Remnant as much as I did?

, I seriously thought it was pretty awesome. An interesting evolution of the standard turn based formula, instead of controlling units one by one, you controlled entire parties at once with its emphasis on bigger war-like battles. It was really cool with awesome music, think I remember the dub was legit too.

Grandia, Suikoden, Ar Tonelico, Mana Khemia, .hack, the Atelier series...there are so many underrated RPGs out there. My personal goal is to play them all

I'm going to assume that you mean Grandia II on the DC or PS2, and definitely play the DC version. PS2 version is extra crappy.
Grandia Xtreme is a dungeon crawler, with very little in common with the other games in the series, as far as I'm aware.
I always thought that the original Grandia was pretty highly regarded.

Resonance of Fate.

That's the one. I wonder if it would have been more widely regarded if the tri-ace logo were prominently featured on the cover instead of the SEGA logo. They took a lot of risks in the gameplay, that I feel worked really well. It would be nice if they were better rewarded for it.
Also, I don't understand the name change.
Still have this game sealed, really should play it soon. Have my PS3 backlog down to this and two other games!

If only someone made a translation for the Saturn version.

Possible, sure. Just like how they're doing with the Shining Force III translation. Practical? Probably not, but when has that ever stopped ROM hackers before?

The original phantasy star games, after 4 they are just known for their online mmo games. Really wish they would make another traditional RPG again. Wheres my phantasy star 5 for the 3ds
