I kinda don't blame them (or you) on the Saturn game. If they're selling old games, they can't play through every disc-based game to completion. You're taking a risk by buying something that old that it may not work properly all the way through. Just a fact of life.

The 64 I don't get though, did you not get to test it before leaving the store with it?

Ok. Your original post makes more sense then. The game shops I frequent will at least exchange an item for store credit if it doesn't work.

If I were you, I'd put that book on ebay ASAP. The price is going to sink like a stone once Udon releases MM25: Mega Man & Mega Man X Official Complete Works later this year (second to last on the list).
