Phantasy Star IV absolutely must be played, regardless what system you play on.

... but there are some games, I just have no patience for outside the original system.
Case in point: Sword of Vermillion. I wouldn't have made it through that one without my Genesis egging me on.
Also, Sword of Vermillion is hard to recommend, but can be quite fun with the right mindset. Still worth a look for a cheap price.
