Actually Christopher lloyd did a live action segment as well as the voice.

And that animated chick looks like some sort of character from "as told by ginger"?

Correct! It's kind of sad that that show's been completely forgotten by most people, 'cause it's probably the best show Nickelodeon ever did. I'm still holding out hope for a dvd release, but it seems less and less likely every year.

My dad and I went to see Beakman live once. It was us and a sea of children and some mom chaperones. We didn't care, it was awesome even though it was just Paul by himself. I also saw Paul doing his own sociopolitical puppet show thing with some friends once. It too was awesome.
