Perhaps list the stuff here first? At least then you'd know the people buying your stuff would be people who'd appreciate it. What doesn't sell after a month or so you could then just toss up on ebay.

sorry to hear that you have to give up your game/camera collection.

while i prob have most of the games you do, i'd be interested in looking through your cameras. i myself collect cameras, i have a nikon d600, d80, fm10(film), mamiya c330f & rb67 (120 film), as well as some old polaroids including the sx70, and many various models.

It is none of my business really but here is my take on it...
I don't get that kind of argument. If parents give someone an allowance, they should mostly let kids use it for the stuff of their choosing. If they want to make a college fund or something else instead, then don't let the kids choose. Giving choices and then taking it away retroactively is probably not such good parenting, but I'm not a parent and I don't know the specifics.

If the parents are having genuine economic difficulties I think it is pretty reasonable for him to voluntarily pitch back some of the "past allowance" money he invested in his collections by selling some of it.
If the parents are somehow "forcing him" to get rid of stuff it still kind of sucks (even if they have legitimate reasons like economic trouble, or logistical difficulties storing all the stuff). Most kids would probably have spent it on forgettable entertainment or eating out and have nothing to show for it.

It is different going forward and reducing his allowance, or asking him to start contributing to rent or something like that, that can be pretty reasonable. Getting him to cash out his collection is "retroactive". If they don't have a good reason and just think he was spending too much on the collections they should have intervened when they thought he had enough consoles, i.e. before he acquired more stuff. Would save grief, time and money.

Don't sweat it - you're only 15. When you're on your own and making some dough you'll be able to begin collecting again.

Just wait until you're financially stable - a lot of this stuff seems to float around forever, it'll still be out there. I didn't even begin collecting until I was 27.
