It's kinda neat, but a different stage with more background showing, or a more complex background would make more impact imo.

If you had Mega Man taking on a robot master it would be more dramatic. More specifically; I'd love to see one of him jumping a metal blade while firing on Metal Man - even have a color filter to make everything more reddish/rusty and a filter to enhance the gear background's edges.

Or maybe have him fighting (losing?) against Air Man and use some motion/directional-blur and overlay some clouds?

How about recreating a scene from the first part of Gemini Man's stage, but use HD photos of space & colorize some quartz/sodium/geode crystals to replace the background and floor?

I have come back to this game as i thought it deserved it. I haven't made so many C64 wallpapers & Barbarian (or Death Sword) is so iconic.

I'm back in the mood for real pixels & i'm going big. There are a couple of other games that fit in with this arena backdrop as well so i might try them too..

I think this one is kinda cute...not too smooth but looks fine. In short, I like it!
