SFxT on 360, it'll be a cleaner setup once the exact TV is determined, as specific cutouts can then be done for cables and such.

His project looks great! He's going to have a great skill-set when he gets older if he decides to stay with it.

Awesome cabinet. Is he going to do anything on the marquee or side panels? I can't remember if he was going for the MVS-style cabinet, though that's jarring my memory.

There will be some trim work on the seams and then all stained a medium toned stain. The marquee hood will have something, but he's undecided if it should be a specific game, brand, or something w/his name. It won't have anything on the side panels for now, but he can always add something if desired.

Nice retro dishwasher! Where did you score that? Seriously awesome project, my boys helped me hang molding this past weekend. Should of been a one day job that turned into a weekend, but it's all good.

Weather is getting nice and projects can get finishing touches!

We put the rest of the trim on Aidric's cab today - all that is needed now is to be stained / polyed.

Still undecided on whether or not to give the panels or the marquee any type of identifiers. It is going to be a dedicated 360 station, though that can easily change of course. Mostly 360 fighters, shmups, and a dedicated skylanders base station (they can set atop the cab).

We've debated calling it an "Aidric City" or something w/360 or skylanders in the title, but until he's sure, we'll just leave it blank:

We modded some arcades sticks today too, put in some sanwa buttons and then each of the kids picked out a color scheme of their choosing (I was short one red balltop, so that is pending). These will store underneath on the storage shelf:

That's good stuff, Mike.

It's great that you're so involved in your childrens' extracurricular activities; and that they have such a genuine interest in your hobbies as well. You're lucky, man.

That looks fantastic! He has better woodworking skills than most people 4 times his age!
