I picked up a copy of Wipeout last summer for the PS1 just to compare with my Saturn version. Its one of my favorite racers and I just wanted to see which was overall better.

The verdict....... I still haven't actually played the PS1 version yet

^. The PS1 version has a higher framerate and 2 player split screen. Otherwise they're graphically identical.

people say the the PS1 version is better of In the Hunt, but I don' think the slowdown affects the game much in the Saturn version.. much like Metal Slug 1 or 2 on the Neo Geo.

I seem to recall hearing In the Hunt having a boot glitch on Saturn where it would not boot unless done through the Bios Screen.

PS1 is the clear winner for In The Hunt as it's not as slow and boots up every time. I've tried 2 or 3 discs of the Saturn version and sometimes they don't boot up, sometimes they boot up but hang, and sometimes they play fine.

I've heard rumors that the PAL version of In the Hunt was released later and fixed the slowdown, but the game is very rare. Is this a myth?

I have gave up on my copy. It is spotless and work when I bought it, then it stopped working, then I got it resurfaced and never got it working, now I have to try it again.

How do you boot in the bios screen?
