There are too many good, challenging - yet nonetheless fair - games out there (like Ninja Gaiden) for you to be torturing yourself with Adventures of Bayou Billy.

I don't give up easily. But yes, it has been torture.

The drivin' and zappin' stages aren't tough, but the fightin' stages are brutally difficult. I swear it is like the enemies, even the dinky ones, have twice the life that Billy does. And I still haven't deduced a plan on how to easily take out the baddies.

I have no issue with stating the fact that I'm at the point to where if I found a cheap way to beat the baddies, I'd use it. Until then, Billy will be jump kicking and looking like an idiot as I push on.

I think Bayou Billy is a bad game personally. Awkward to play and way too hard. I heard the Famicom original is better but I have no idea.

It has its moments, but I don't fully disagree with you. The fighting stages controls are terrible and inconsistent.

Far Cry 3. I hate having to use uplay and just got bored after %80 completion. Decent game though. Maybe I'll come back to it. HotS though :/

March update!:

Key:Red = Completely given up, Black = Intending to finish

Nintendo Land Wii U
Blaster Master Wii VC
Scribblenauts DS
Ultimate Ghosts n' Goblins PSP
Bubble Bobble SMS
Patchwork Heroes PSN
Wild Arms PS1 Classics
HarmoKnight 3DS eShop

Games off the list: Cave Story, Jeanne d'Arc.
Games on the list: Bubble Bobble, Patchwork Heroes, Wild Arms, HarmoKnight

2 on, 4 off this month. Although the month looks unproductive, I actually got through a load of stuff this month, so I'm not too bothered. Of the 4 games on the list, Patchwork Heroes I'm workign through a bit at a time, i'm just past half way so far. Wild Arms and HarmoKnight I've just started, so I expect I'll easily finish both of those by next month's update too. Bubble Bobble I'm less certain about - I kinda suck, and I haven't been enjoying it much either. It's one I'll have to wait and see on I think.

As of right now, the only games I picked up with serious intent on finishing are Infamous and PSO.

In the process of playing PSO, but I doubt I'll actually "beat" it this year.

I haven't turned on my PS3 since I got my Dreamcast, so Infamous is still pending.

AAAARGH!

I'm getting there, but I'm still stuck on Bourbon street. Frustrating as all get out.

I tried Liberation Maiden a little while ago. The boss fights are cheap and annoying and the game play is constantly being interrupted by incessant dialog between the two main characters. SHUT THE FUCK UP AND LET ME BLOW SHIT UP!!!

God, Japanese games and their ridiculously chatty characters. I just want to put a muzzle on everyone. I don't know if I will finish this game.
