addiction: noun - the state of being enslaved to a habit or practice or to something that is psychologically or physically habit-forming, as narcotics, to such an extent that its cessation causes severe trauma.

collecting comics, cereal, and Mt. Dew do not count, folks.
I think someone is a little too literal. We all knew what he meant.

It's true.

Nothing better than nuking a spammer within 5 minutes of them signing up while they're still logged in and knowing that they're wondering why it suddenly isn't working.

Not a correct use of the word addiction ;)

It's comes and goes, but I have a few:

Soccer season when it rolls around. Tend to watch a bunch, play a ton, and talk about it with friends and people who share that interest.

Running: It's one activity that I hope will be lifelong. I like training for a marathon. There's something very rewarding intrinsically by beating your own personal bests. Part of the adventure is picking a race, then holding myself accountable for training. There's something strangely addictive about training, then immense reward when it pays off for you.

Certainly not addictions but rather habit forming, I am most definitely a creature of habit.
