Evil Dead remake trailer *NSFW*

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

I don't know. It's odd. Like I indicated above, Evil Dead is certainly a franchise I hold dear to a rather over-board level of geekiness. You'd think I'd be as bothered as you, but I'm really just excited. I guess we just see the series differently. To me, sure I'd like to see the "4" on the end of the title. But I can just as easily ignore its omission and look forward to this. Though opposite you, I really like the way the trailer looks. Doesn't look all CGI and slick. Just dark and bloody as hell.

Toe Jam and Earl 3?
Metroid Other M
R-Type Command (after R-Type Final)
Starfox Adventures (I know it was originally not Starfox related in development)
Zelda II
MK games that weren't tournament fighters?

Maximo does it right. Some people can look at it and go "that's totally Ghosts and Goblins 3D" and be happy, but people that think "GnG is a 2D platform action game keep your filthy 3D out of this" are spared from moaning about "that crappy 3D game that ruined the series".

The original was also rated thirty years ago, so who knows.

I kind of agree with Hobie-wan. I'm anal about the use of names and titles. I'm still interested in seeing this new movie though, but call it what it is for fuck's sake

Those were clearly spinoffs.

(besides, Shaolin Monks was pretty cool)

They never went back to that though. Did Shaolin Monks not sell well? Such a fun game, with some inspired boss fights
