I've bought a few collector's editions of modern games, some of those racked up to $150. And I think that's the most I've ever paid for a single title. But in terms of a non-CE where it was a normal priced game and I paid some sort of collector's inflation, then that would be more like, I want to say $35. I'm not really sure, because I buy older games in batches.
Oh, I had to pay $40 for the Zelda collection on GameCube, outside of that, it's probably the $30 I paid for FF7 Black Label. Everything else is usually below that.
That being said ... I'm increasingly thinking that $180 or so is not a bad paying price for Panzer Dragoon Saga.
What's the most you've ever spent on one video game?

I'm pretty sure my most expensive game is still Radiant Silvergun, which I bought in high school for about $150. I was working in a supermarket when I was 16 and I quit very shortly after making enough to buy the game.

Re: What's the most you've ever spent on one video game?
Payed between 90 and 120 dollars for each of these:
Pulseman - MD
De la Jet Set Radio D-direct - DC
Border Down - DC
Space Channel 5 LE - DC
Segagaga D-direct LE - DC
Ibara - PS2
Radiant Silvergun - SAT
So far, my biggest single-game purchases, but they all feel pretty worth it to me.
I usually prefer to get anything that has a story in the language it originated, so that I get the story the way the original author(s) intended for it to be told. So I'll probably never pay $100 or more for something like Panzer Dragoon Saga or Mega Man 8, but there are some Mega Drive games that I've been looking at recently that have been pushing the ceiling of what I'm comfortable paying for a game. Shit, son. At $10 I'd be doubling my money on it.
(No, I'm not selling it!)

I spent $360 including shipping for a mint CIB Earthbound. I played it for about six hours before finally admitting it wasn't fun. I sold it for $700 a few months later.
Selling half my NES/SNES/PS1 collection (ending Dec 1):

$54 for Shenmue 2 (DC). I mean I've technically paid $60 for PC/360 games for a while now, but if we're just counting collection stuff then yeah, Shenmue 2.

Re: What's the most you've ever spent on one video game?
Spent 150$ on a mint sealed Power Glove (Large), not a game, but one of the most I spent on an item for my game collection. Also spent 200$ on the Sega kiosk shown in my collection photos. The Power Glove was an Ebay auction that was in the wrong category with Nintendo misspelled, so it didn't have much traffic as it should have. The Sega kiosk was at a garage sale from a woman who didn't know exactly what it was...she originally wanted $600.00. I have been trying NOT to buy a boxed copy of Earthbound, although I have come close a few times, but just couldn't spend the cheddar!
