Will this be released in your average bookstore? Or will I have to order this online?

Game related book in an average bookstore? Unlikely.
Chances there are bookstores next year? Hmmm
 (FC, AVFC, NES, SFC x2, SNES, N64, GC x2, Wii x2)*(G&W x7, GB, GBpocket, GBASP, DS-L x2)
(GEN, SS x3, DC x3)*(PCE-Duo)*(Xbox:500GB)*(NGCDZ, NGPC)*(PS1, PStwo, PS3:160GB, PSP.3K)

Meh, now that I am thinking about it I could just order it from the store, but it would be nice to get a discount from that 40 dollar price.

Meh. Brick & Mortar stores will always be around. The Internet may be more convenient, but nothing beats actually browsing through a bookstore and flipping through the pages. And especially with used book stores it's great to find a book that you've never heard of that looks fantastic at a great price.

I've had some bad experiences with Amazon pre-orders, having to wait weeks after my book was released to get it last time.

Still... this is tempting as all-hell.

It's basically 50% off. I don't care if I have to wait a few extra weeks, I have other shit I can read in the mean time lol.

Never had that problem. What shipping speed do you use?
