No linked servers for the Europe and North American version. I'm a little disappointed to say the least, given the lack of frequent updates Sega of America has a reputation for. I know I shouldn't end with a preposition but I did.

Anyone playing the Japanese beta before the US version is released next year? I made a character but haven't had time to delve into this yet.. This game is obviously better with a controller as well..

I don't have a PC that will run it, but I intend on having one so that I can at least experience the game. That and for other PC games.

As an individual burrowing deeper and deeper in debt to become an English professor, I assure you that it's perfectly acceptable to end sentences with prepositions in the majority of instances that we use in daily speech, and this is one of them. The rule of thumb is to ask yourself whether the sentence makes sense without the prepositional phrase. "[...]given the lack of frequent updates Sega of America has a reputation" on its own wouldn't work as an indefinite clause, so using the preposition is acceptable. And (starting a sentence a conjunction: also acceptable in this case) anyone who expects others to make the syntactical contortion of "[...]given the lack of frequent updates FOR WHICH Sega of America is known" in casual speech just to avoid offending them on the basis of violating their arbitrary formalist principles on proper syntax... let's just say THEY'RE the ones with the problem. :)

This should help -- I'm typically not crazy about Grammar Girl, since she has a tendency to fall into over-correctiveness for the sake of the aforementioned arbitrary formalist principles over the realities of sociolinguistic ease of communication, but she writes a very sensible article here:

In conclusion, yay video games!

Thanks! :D I like prepositions, and now I won't feel so bad about using them. I won't abuse them though!
