I think it's a shame this will be digital. One of the great things about having stuff like Ico/Shadow of the Colossus and the Sly Cooper series getting HD re-releases is getting those games on those sweet ass blu-rays. I mean you've got something definitive not just in visual presentation, but physical storage medium as well

It's getting a physical release in Japan. So now that the game is finally out, has anyone played it yet? Many reviewers have dubbed it the 'ultimate version' (which it should be, let's be honest). It's getting rave reviews, so looks like they haven't messed up the port. It supports the Move controller for those used to the Wii version, or you can use the standard Dualshock controller, and it's got gorgeous HD graphics. One criticism I have though, is the PSN price is well expensive (here in the UK). £15.99 seems pretty steep for a download only HD remake game (SotC was only £9.99 for example), but that's probably just me being cheap...
BTW, for those interested it has been confirmed that the Asian physical release includes both English and Japanese languages. I believe the Japanese version also does. I've ordered the Asian version and it should be with me within the next couple of weeks hopefully. I've had the PS2 version for years and I've been looking to get into the game, so the HD release seems like the perfect opportunity

I hate to double post, but I forgot to pre-warn those that are considering importing a physical copy from Asia or Japan, that the game has a manditory install and takes 7gbs of space.

That is perhaps one of the most beautiful pieces of video game memorabilia ever. As much as I love Okami, $200 is tad steep. I'll snoop around elsewhere and see what I can scrounge up.Anyone know if the JP release is subbed? Evidently the standard version has both eng and jp subs.

Yeah, supposedly all versions of the game feature multi-language support.
As much as I wanted that collector's edition, I'm going to be spending too much on games this and next month, and just can't swing it. I hope I'll be able to grab it someday, though.
