Now, when i get that working, do I need the .iso file, or just the .cue file?
I used CDRwin to convert the .cues to be read by the emulators, so do I use those?
Saturn Modchip installation help! All finished!!!
You'll typically have either BIN & CUE or ISO/MP3/CUEbk13 wrote:Downloading...

With Saturn, you need the CUE sheets. If that's usually the file you will select to "open" when you burn.
But, when patching, you're actually patching the BIN or ISO file.

HOLY CRAP!!! I LOVE YOU RACKETBOY! If I was a chick, I would totally do things of an adult nature with you...
Ahem...
I got everything to work! I used the converter, burned it, and it worked! IT WORKED!!! I can't express my gratitude! My first modding project and it worked like a charm! This will probably be my last though... for now. Anyway, thanks for ALL your help. I will definitely spread the word!

Whoops... perhaps I jumped the gun a bit. Now something weird happened. I tried Burning Rangers on the burned disk, and it works fine, along with my regular NiGHTS game. Now, when I tried to play Panzer Dragoon Zwei, or Panzer Dragoon Saga it doesn't work. The game boots up okay, but after I press start on the opening movie it will take me back to the Saturn BIOS screen where I have to "launch application" again. It will then take me to the game, but if I press start it does it again. Curious... and it only happens on those games. Like I said, Burning Rangers is fine...
Could it be the roms are bad? I think I got them all from the same place.

I tried playing Radiant Silvergun, and it works perfectly. I did have to switch to non analog mode on my analog controller though. I tried switching to either controller with and without analog, and I can't get those games to work. I'll try downloading them again, because it must be those games if only they don't work.
Crap... I tried it again. This time I burned on the .cue file instead of the .iso. I patched the .bin file with the same name so it's (U). That didn't work though. It said game disk was unsuitable. Should I use the "modified" cue? I used CDRwin to make a modified .cue with a different name, that will work on emulators. I don't know the difference though, but do I need to do that?
I tried downloading a rom elsewhere though, and it wouldn't even let me burn it. It gave me an error about missing files (I'm guessing the .bin and .cue files are detected at the same time, and added together if they're named the same, right?) The new rom was named the same for the .cue and .bin file. However the name had spaces in it, which I replaced by underscores (because I thought that would fix the problem with the disk being burned). What do you think?

Yay! I got Panzer Dragoon Saga to work! Now, I did it by (I think) burning the modified .cue file onto the disk, that I got from running CDRwin. I tried the same thing with the other disks though, and it gives me the "disk unsuitable" message. Odd... Now I know the roms are good... it's just little problems. I might just try opening up the .rars and then trying them again to get rid of the crap I put in there before. Maybe it links to the wrong .bin or something? I don't know how everything works though...
