When your right, your right. I reapplied my glue and fixed him. Thank you SO much for putting up with me through this whole escapade. I really mean it. :)
CONGRATS! Give R.O.B. a high five when the Arms come up. But not too hard a push though. :D

Well, now I've got another problem. His Left Arm, when I put it back in, clicks when it opens all the way. What does THAT mean? It's just a loud "click-click-click".

One of the gears is jumping teeth. Every click wears away a little more plastic, not a good thing. Best to take another look inside.

I took another look inside, but I can't find any problems at all, but it still clicks. Any idea on how I can fix this? Should I provide another picture?

Besides the clicking, do the arms function fully opening and closing evenly? When ROB is powered on, it does the dance test phase checking each motor. If one arm is not set and matched to the correct gear tooth it will tend to overshoot and open or close further then the other arm, depending on where it was initially dropped in. Maybe one of the arms are bottoming out of its travel and clicking?

A gear not set correctly or an arm not seated in its pivot points?

With the housing opened up, try turning the individual gears by hand and see what is catching. You can also verify movement by attaching temporary jumper wires from the motor resistors to the battery. Reversing the polarity will reverse the direction. HAVE CARE TO NOT SHORT OUT THE PCB.

Lubricating all the inner gears with a little grease can also help. See my pic at the top of the previous page. The only gear that I did not grease is the neck track. It is exposed so dust can build up on it.

I just tried moving the arms left and right myself while it was open, and noticed something with the cylinder-like gears that move the arms. The left one stays rises upwards on it's metal rod, but doesn't come back down. But when I moved the right arm, that one's cylinder-like gear went back down. Could that be the reason it's messing up?

That is normal, the gears move up and down because the housing cover is off which would keep the gears down. I suspect something is not seated with either the upper or lower housing. The entire arm and gear assemblies is a pain to get all the pieces seated when replacing that last cover. Make sure all the gears are in their notches, seated teeth to teeth with their neighbor gear and the pins are also aligned. Try gently squeezing the last cover back on while slightly wiggling each arm.

I managed to stop the clicking somehow, but now his left hand pushes his right hand too far.

Are the holders for the Spinner motor and controller weight pivots all the way seated?

Is the arm grabbing the spinner at the right point, does it spool up in the motor?
