Re: RF Generation Collectorcast
I'm interested in taking a listen to the pod cast but I'm wondering if there is a method to download it as a MP3? I don't have an iPod and can't be streaming stuff at work.

In this episode we dig deep into the 32x, its library (except we somehow forgot Tempo?), and its history.

Re: RF Generation Collectorcast
I'll be honest: the length of these episodes keeps me from tuning in, even on topics I find interesting. I listened to the first few episodes, but then they got long. I feel like a show that hits the 2 hour mark usually drags a bit and has a lot of "filler" (I've not been able to sit through any/many podcasts extending much past that) and these are often 2-3 times that long or moreDuke.Togo wrote:Episode 18 of the Collectorcast is out: http://www.rfgeneration.com/news/collec ... s-2647.php

What do you envision as the typical listening experience? At once? In chunks? Is a significant portion of the show still reviewing/discussing listener pick ups or the RFG finds threads? I know you have a good following with what you do, but I feel like if you varied your approach/length more you may pick up a wider audience (including me).

I'll have to (unfortunately) agree. Personally, I listen to podcasts on my commute. And I stream them - which means it's not easy to just pick up where I left off since I don't have them stored as files on my phone. Because of this, in many cases if a show (any show) is over 45 mins... I only hear 45 mins of that episode. Because of the length of the Pick-Ups segment on Collectorcast I've tended to miss a lot of recent episodes since I'd have been interested in the actual topics, but not as interested in hearing 45 mins of pick-ups. I *think* I had suggested on the official RFGen forum thread for the show that perhaps the show should be split into Pick-Up episodes and Topic episodes. Even if you guys recorded both at the same time but then just split it into two mp3's.
