Funny, I came here just to say that the Dreamcast sucks.
I like both of them... :(

I was only kidding.

I really never have been able to get into the Dreamcast though for some reason.

I can say that the Dreamcast is the WORST console I have ever played. Just... terrible. "It's thinking"? Just what were they thinking! hahaahahaah!!!11!!onetwo!!!

The N64 is probably the second worst console ever. I agree with Robocop; "Get N or Get Out"? How about just "Get out and get Sega Saturn instead"? HAHAAAHAHAAHAHAHAAHAA!!!!!11111111!

I was around when the N64 was new. I got it in its second year. I can say that there are more N64 games I like than Saturn games. I don't like RPGs or fighting games. Mario 64, Bomberman Hero, Mario Kart 64, Shadows of the Empire, Mischief Makers, Yoshi's Story, Zelda. Good stuff.

Saturn Bomberman>>>>>>>all three N64 Bombermans

I'm also going to go out on a limb here any claim that you haven't really given the Saturn library a fair shake, have you? Plenty of great shooters and some really nice platformers on the Saturn. The arcade racing games are top notch. Puzzle games, too (unless you need 4P, then go N64 except for Bomberman).

I dunno, is it really at all fair to compare Saturn Bomberman to Bomberman Hero? Hero being a single-player game and all...

Bomberman hero was really not a traditional bomberman game. It was a platformer, and I'm a platformer fan. I'm not that into shooters, I have the played one played 'em all mentality for the most part. Not that I won't pick one up for cheap and have fun with it, but the idea of paying a ton of money for rare shooters isn't something I'll ever do. I have Astal and Clockwork Knight. Both are pretty good. Gex was on a bunch of systems, and isn't great imo. I have a saturn and I've given it plenty of fair shakes, not to mention I'm a Sega fan by a longshot, but if I could only have one I'd have an N64.

The saturn does have several shooters, but many of them are ports of PC games. I'd rather play them on the PC. N64 was about the same, but had goldeneye and perfect dark.

Yes, it is. FYI, I do own it. It wasn't even supposed to be a Bomberman game. The point is that I'm surprised someone would list it on a "favourites" list. It's... decent I guess, at best.

Of course, Saturn Bomberman>>>>>>>>90% if all video games including most of the N64 library (all of it in IMO, but I know most do like Mario 64, Mario Kart 64, SSM and the Zeldas more).

Sin & Punishment is the best N64 game in my books, but S.Bomberman is still more fun. Yeah, a totally different genre. I know I shouldn't compare them, but screw it. I still have the Pizza64 console in my head.
