You could sell your SFxT copy and bring that down to $100.
And not be locked out of 1/3 of the game to boot.

I don't usually buy into the figures and whatever that come with Special Editions, but this one is pretty awesome.

VOUCHERS! :?

If you want HDR on a retail disc and you have a 360 then your better off purchasing Capcom Digital Collection.
I can't help but wonder: why no Street Fighter Alpha?
Agreed! Especially with regards to the anime films. Sure SF Alpha and SF Generations were sub par at best but they are WAY better than that awful Ties That Bind SF4 movie that they are packing in AGAIN! And why the fuck did they bother to put the SF Animated Series!!! Why didn't they put SF V instead!

This entire collection stinks of shit that was released not too long ago!

The only that I would to buy this is for the Statue and Belt. That's It!

I could see 11 cds of RPG music but is the Street Fighter music that memorable?

I know you didn't just ask that.

EDIT:

So I must say that surprisingly I kind of agree with CD AGES in a Capcom thread. Now, as said about I do see the value in this collection. If you don't have all these games. But that's the thing, I'd assume that most anyone willing to drop the $150 on this does have all the games.

I admit that the soundrack bundle and Blu-Rays is pretty nice. I'd probably buy that if it were released by itself. But the belt and Ryu figure do nothing for me (sorry... just never been that big of a Ryu fan).

What I'd really like to see is Capcom put this kind of effort into getting us those games we don't have. As alluded to already -- where's Alpha 3 with online support? I'd go pretty ape shit for that.

But really instead of bundling this with the recent SFxT mere months after it was released, this should have 2HD and Third Strike OE on a physical disc. It should bundle up the Alpha Series (as was already made available on PS2). How about the EX games? Of course the licensing would be a nightmare but "The Movie The Game" would have been a nice addition for SF historians.

I guess what I'm saying is that for hardcore fans of the series of GAMES, I think this set should include a lot more of the games in a more far-reaching manner than just giving us the same titles we've already spent money on in the past few years.

^ I agree. Putting in SxT seems really odd to me and an Alpha collection for your PS3 + some bonus EX games would have been an easy sell.
