I have to make a video game themed website...

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

But yeah, I don't wanna be so obnoxious that I piss off the prof.

I'm sure we've all seen this:

I haven't seen it! That's fucking amazing!!!
Racketboy looks incredible.

Okay I started it...

The page doesn't really have a "theme" per se, it's just a collection of retro game related stuff I find interesting.

Here are the sections I have so far:
16-bit console guides (SNES, Genesis/Sega CD, TurboGrafx-16/Turbo CD)
Best 16-bit JRPGs
DOSBox tutorial
MAME tutorial
Cleaning carts guide
Playing imports on American systems (NES, SNES, Genesis, Saturn, Dreamcast, PS2)
Deciphering confusing game titles (Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, Dragon Slayer, Ys, Castle Shikigami, and more)

The professor sent us links to the "best" websites she received last semester. I gotta say, the scripting is fine but the subject matter is horrible! One is this sappy lovely-dovey site dedicated to some girl's boyfriend, another is a bizarre rambling right-wing "Constitutionalist" manifesto. Weird shit (though I'm sure plenty of folks will find a page dedicated to retro gaming to be quite bizarre).

lol not a bad idea.

How about the best bee games? In 5th grade I actually designed a platforming game about a honeybee (by "designed" I mean that I sat there in class sketching the levels). In retrospect a bee platformer doesn't make any sense since they can fly. A bee shmup would be cool.

just make it about games starring insects

it's a nice excuse to write about mr. mosquito and you can include all kinds of bee games as well.

DonPachi (首領蜂?) is a vertically-scrolling manic shooter video game developed by Cave and published by Atlus in 1995.... Literally translated, the title means "leader bee",

First image no workie. I'm wondering why the 2600 game has the squirrel proudly thrusting forward and the snail is staring at its crotch.
