That really sucks. We had something like that happen when my grandmother made the naive mistake of letting our neighbor's son do our porch construction. A year later, we had to have part of it removed and our septic tank replaced because the idiot put a huge slab of concrete right over the tank, weighing it down and breaking it.

gave away my ROB with gyros because i didn't know how to use it. To be fair, I picked it up at a garage sale previously and I never had gyromite or stack up....but still makes me made that I didn't keep it as it's pretty cool on it's own.

Not a "regret" per se, but I was simply very ignorant when I began collecting games a couple years ago. I didn't know about Racketboy (obviously) or any decent online game stores. I was buying everything at GameStop or the crappy local stores. Got a bunch of stuff in less than desirable condition. Ended up spending more money in the long-run to get things resurfaced, repaired, or straight up replaced. Live and learn.

Selling AV mod NES top loader was probably my worst move.

I thought other models would be more appeal. Leading me to buy then sell Twin Famicom, followed by AV Famicom. Since neither I ended up caring for!

Twin Famicom because of short controller cords and non-working disk drive.
AV Famicom due to its design dichotomy of a stiff cartridge slot with too wide an opening. It caused games to wiggle back and forth yet also be annoying to remove.

On a similar note I'm back to Genesis 2 + Sega CD 2 after trying X'eye (didn't work), Nomad (bad ergonomics), CDX (bored with), Genesis 1 (bored with)... Yet to think I'm still after all this considering a PAL Megadrive. I need help.

- Sold Windwaker + Zelda: CE (both non-PC + EXCELLENT condition) for $4 each at a garage sale, after "growing out of" gaming. ( )

- Sold Intellivision, 2 controllers, plus handful of boxed games + overlays for $10

- Traded an NES toploader + Mad World to ' likestoplayinpuddles ' on here and never got anything in return whatsoever. He ignored my PM's and everything. Never left him negative feedback, since he seemed to have fled the site, and now it's probably too late.

- Missed out on a really cheap Virtua Cop 1 + 2 with 2 light guns Saturn lot because my ebay sniping site got botched by Daylight Savings Time.

- Just recently I missed out on a large, 50 cent, Sonic plushie at the thrift because I was too busy digging through VHS tapes.

I regret selling a lot of my Mega Drive games to fund my Dreamcast buying habits.

I regret selling a lot of my Dreamcast games to fund my Gamecube buying habits.

I regret selling my Gamecube and all my games to fund my re-buying my Dreamcast and Mega Drive games habit.

I regret trading in a mint and complete copy of the PC version of Final Fantasy VII to Gamestation for 2 freaking pounds.

I regret selling/trading in most games I ever traded in (I rarely bought crap games I didn't end up liking to be honest).

Here is another one from me. Bought a saturn and collected for 2 years. Got every u.s title except panzer dragoon saga and shining force 3 Even bought jap titles. Sold it to a store in 2002 for 250.00. That was another regret. Hell every game was complete.

Even worse than buying or selling. I GAVE AWAY my Gameboy Advance SP when I got my DS Lite. Wish I still had that beauty. :(

BURN!

That's terrible, that's horrible! And I've *played* both of those!
