Despite the fact that I do love SNK fighters, I tend to dislike special moves, especially supers or finishers that are just a whole bunch of hits like Kim's super and Ryo's super. I prefer distinct moves.

Which leads into some of my favorite moves...

Ryo (and company) Haou ken. I actually learned to do this pretty reliably in AoF 1 on an arcade cab, at a time when I regularly had trouble doing shoryukens on the SF II Hyper Fighting machine right next to it (still can't do them reliably on a SNES pad, but that's not my fault).

I love almost all of Andy's Bogard's classic moves. He's not one of my strongest characters, but he is one of my favorites, despite this. I'm not a good pressure player but he's a very good pressure character.

Ryu/Ken crouching short. Nice little needler.

Chun Li neutral jumping roundhouse. I could not reliably reproduce all the special moves of various characters on the SNES pad, so I ended up defeating Bison largely by standing in the corner doing jumping neutral roundhouses. Ryu/Ken are pretty good for this, too, but Chun Li has the best one overall.

Chun Li heel kick. Just so much fun to do.

SamSho Charlotte's Power Gradation. Easier to do than a shoryuken, with lower priority but nice damage.

SamSho 1 Wan-Fu's flying sword throw. I was REALLY good at doing it just right such that the sword landed and exploded right behind the character so that it bypassed what they thought should have been an easy block of an overly-telescoped move.

Bryan Fury Tekken 3
Chains of Misery
Full crouch, foward down, down, fowrd down+LP+RP.
Bryan makes an evil laugh while whipping your ass to the hard pavement.
Grabs you, uppercuts , then haymakers you to the ground.
If you can see the future while remembering the past, you may just have control of the present.

Falcon PUUUUUNCH
Simply because it's funny.

Ness's downward aerial attack in the original Smash Bros. is pretty devastating. It kicks the opponent straight down, which generally leads to their death if they're off the main platform.

Don't add to my problems by pretending my past views are still held in the present. I do not have any patience for that. Feel free to ask me what I think now.

Mine are fairly simple.

Guile, SF2, strong punch + away. He spins back a bit and backhands you with his forearm. Does a good bit of damage too, but mostly just looks awesome.

The move where Bryan Fury uppercuts your stomach, laughs, and then with the same momentum from the punch flips you on your back.

Honorable Mentions:

Heihachi's nut stomp.

Flash's nine (or is it ten?) rapid punch combo, and the Joker's hand buzzer.

Forget which Jack it is, but the move where he levitates and simply falls on the opponent.

You know what, it occurs to me that in the face of the might Street Fighter II, Fatal Fury/Garou Densetsu's Terry Bogard has quite a solid selection of original moves which, over the years have been refined to make him quite an original, balanced, and potent character in just about every fighting game in which he's features. He's flexible the way Ken is, but slow to change much like Ryu. He also NEVER sucks.
