That's Puzzle Bobble for ya.

Apparently holding B makes the aimer thingy even more precise?

I remember that. I was messing with the buttons and noticed the line change when I pressed B. I might as well have taped that button down as much as I used it.

Is that true on the Neo Geo version?

I bought this after hearing lots of people recommend it, but I'm really unimpressed. All of the beats you have to hit dont seem to fit with the music at all, and it's actually incredibly hard to play without knowledge of Japanese, which is really odd for a rhythm game.

Dark Arms, Dive Alert: Becky's Version, Dive Alert: Matt's Version, Faselei!, and Evolution: Eternal Dungeons.

I don't believe that Faselei! or Evolution were released in the US but they have English European versions.

Also, Bio Motor Unitron is kinda like a strategy RPG I think. Part 2 is available only in Japan. There's also a Japanese-only Ogre Battle game.

Overall, a small library of solid titles.

Faselei did have an American realease but it came out after snk was bought by aruze. It came randomly in those system plus 6 games packages. It goes for stupid prices on eBay now

yup. Sadly, it and Last Blade are the only US NGPC releases to be cart-only.

Isn't Biomotor a Pokemon like RPG with robots?

I really enjoyed SNK v Capcom. That joystick works well... buttons & joystick are loud though lol. Can't really play it on an airplane ;)

How's the durability for NGPC? Anyone have the analog stick wear out?

I dunno, but I will say this - it's pretty easy to still find a new NGPC.

They're $90 on Amazon right now, a bit steep but still half of what a current-gen handheld costs. And half of what the (much crappier) Neo Geo X costs, for that matter.

Amazon NGPCs were about $65 last year. :?

I've had 3 NGPC's and none of them ever had any issues.
