Ah ok, so you are into gaming most. That's good :)

Are there games that you buy knowing you'll likely rarily play, and then games you know you'll play hours on end? Or do you just try stuff out once you get it?

I would always try out the games I bought, but I would never really play them. I was always in the mood to buy, not play. I was running through games I knew I should be spending more time with.

On a different note: do you collect any arcade stuff? That may end up costing more than your car if you ever do get into it.

I just like discussing how peole collect/game :)

See that's where I differ from "collectors" to me they are games I like. I couldn't give two shits about stress. If a natural disaster happens..Well..that sucks but whatever. It's material shit. Houses/everything in the house can replaced.

Every time I get new games I play them then put em on the shelf. And there will be nights like last night, where I will close my eyes and just pick something at random and play it.

I don't collect arcade stuff YET. I will be this year though. There are couple cabinets Ive wanted. Simpsons, Xmen, TMNT, Super OffRoad, Killer Instinct, Tekken Tag Tournament.

I know this is a REALLY fucked up thought.

But sometimes the thought runs through my head to sell every single game I have out of the box. And concentrate on doing nothing but making a boxed game collection.

That would be WAY too expensive, not to mention hard.

Normally, it's not so bad. Boxed copies of cartridge games usually run for about twice the normal price. The problem is the rare games. Boxed copies of rarities often cost more than twice the price, and since they're already expensive, it hurts quite a lot. I hear that 3 Ninjas Kickback CIB costs several hundred dollars.

Yeah.

Some of these prices for CIB games are unreal though. Normally I get em between $5-$12, but there's PLENTY of them that cost $50 plus
