Speaking of the GBA SP, how much better is the AGS-101 versus the AGS-001?

For me, difference was like night and day :S

I never realized it, but my first SP that I bought at a garage sale back in high-school was a 101 model, I had long since sold that unit and bought 2 or 3 001 models years later. I didn't realize how big a difference the screen was until I recent stopped by a local pawn shop and bought a fully boxed 101 unit.

Basically, the 101 unit has the brightness and clarity of the GBMicro, with the size of the original SP screen.
If you aren't having a good time, why are you playing?

Much, much better. The refresh rate is a tad worse but the screen is just fantastic. Totally worth it to hunt one down.

The 101 screen is pretty much the same quality as the DS Lite screen. Clear, crisp, and bright.

Best hardware revisions:
GBA < GBA SP
DS < DS Lite
PS1 < PSone
Xbox 360 < Xbox 360 Slim

Worst hardware revisions:
Wii > Wii Minus
NES > Toaster
Genesis > Genesis 2 > Genesis 3
SNES > SNES Mini
GBA SP > GB Micro
PSP 3000 > PSP Go

Xbox 360 S is the best revision to me. Now they're actually pretty durable.

Whats so special about PSone? Only the first Playstation models had heating problems and the size difference beteween PS2 and PS2 Slim is a lot bigger. And why is NES toaster worst hardware revision? Its not even official so I dont see how you could include it in a list like this. Famicom to NES is probably the worst hardware revision of all time alongside C64GS when it comes to game consoles.
My WTB thread (Sega CD/Saturn games)
Also looking to buy: Ys III (TG-16 CD), Shadowrun (Genesis) Hori N64 mini pad and Slayer (3DO) in long box/just the long box

The top loader lacked composite or better output.

The ps2 slim has drawbacks with compatability and difficulty modding with a hdd.

While I totally agree with the Wii, Why was the SNES Mini worse? That's what I have, and I'm very satisfied with it, though I never had the original model to compare. Also, what makes each Genesis remodel worse than the last? I have the original (I REALLY wanted those giant "16-BIT" letters).
