So, Nick - if this doesn't get fixed relatively soon, how serious is it?

I did some searches on Google myself, and noticed that Racketboy doesn't seems to feature as highly as it did in the past. We're still first if you search for Saturn mod chips though.

Are we going to need to sell candy bars door-to-door?

Maybe we could have ads in the forums, like Gamefaqs. One banner ad at the top of each board page, but not the annoying expanding kind.

I love this place and one of the reasons is we don't have that clutter.

So do I, but if revenue drops then undesirable measures may be the way out.

MrNash wrote:Racket Boy could just be getting the short end of the stick on a new Google algorithm update. They happen from time to time, and can be absolutely brutal. Or they can be like winning the lottery as a site's traffic skyrockets. It depends, but it sounds like you got the bad side of the deal.

Check WebMasterWorld. They're usually good about researching these things, and it's spam free as they have a strict rule against users linking to their websites. Here's a couple of links that may be useful:

I hope these are of some use to you guys.
But didn't that update go into effect a couple of months ago?

Like I said before a couple of times, the forum, front page, index pages, and the store seem unaffected.
